Adventure Out There LLC was created by Brian and Emily Whitley to share their love of the outdoors and inspire others to live their own adventure. They met in 2015 and have a passion for exploring new places together.
Brian grew up in Northern California and Utah, before joining the military and serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom / Enduring Freedom. From the age of a young child, Brian had a natural draw to the outdoors and camping. After the military, Brian made his way to Lake Tahoe so he could be closer to nature, where he eventually met his future wife, Emily.
Emily was raised in North Lake Tahoe and gained a strong sense of appreciation for the mountains, nature, and getting out in the fresh air. After 21 years of a fulfilling professional career in consulting, she and Brian decided to step away from their 9-5 in 2024 with the goal of spending more time exploring this amazing planet that we live on.
